Embark on a grand adventure that transcends time and unravels the mysteries of history!
One day, Bon Namihira (played by Akihisa Wakayama), a middle school student who is just average, meets Reem Stream (played by Atsumi Tanezaki), a girl from the future who is a Time Patrol member, and his life changes. Bon becomes an apprentice for the Time Patrol, an organization from the future that saves people who died unfortunate deaths in the shadows of all the world's history. Together with Reem and the mysterious creature Buyoyon (played by Mamoru Miyano), who has somehow followed them, Bon embarks on a time-slip adventure! In Season 2, Bon, who has been promoted to a regular member, teams up with new apprentice member Yumiko Yasukawa (played by Tomoyo Kurosawa), and together with Buyoyon, they take on mysterious missions.
Bon, Yumiko, and Buyoyon are awaited by an epic journey through time that satisfies their intellectual curiosity. They take on various missions that transcend time and place around the world, such as "rescuing a manga artist who fell to his death from the ruins of a Mayan pyramid," "rescuing a girl from the Trojan War, famous for the Trojan Horse," "rescuing Taira Nobumori's son from the Battle of Dannoura," and "rescuing a Cro-Magnon boy from the Paleolithic Age."
