"T.P. Bon (Time Patrol Bon)" is a masterpiece adventure that brings to fruition Fujiko F. Fujio's love of "history" and "ancient ruins," which he pursued throughout his life, into a grand science fiction story.
This story, about an ordinary boy named Bon (Namihirabon) who becomes a member of an organization in the future called "T.P. (Time Patrol)" and travels back in history to save many lives, was serialized in the young people's manga magazine "Monthly Shonen World (later relaunched as "Monthly Comic Tom")" (Ushio Publishing), which also published Tezuka Osamu's "Buddha" and Yokoyama Mitsuteru's "Romance of the Three Kingdoms". It is a work aimed at a wide readership, from junior high school students to adults.
This work is attracting attention with the start of the distribution of season 2 of the Netflix anime series "T.P. Bon," and the first volume of this work's collector's edition, which is the first to be published in a book, is now available in the same size as when it was published in a magazine.
The new edition of "T.P. Bon" includes all 35 episodes of this masterpiece series, in both the regular edition and the collector's edition, in the order in which they were published when they were first serialized.
