"Doraemon the Movie: Nobita 's Symphony of the Earth ” Guest voice actor no. 2!
The popular comedy duo Kagaya
Debuted as a voice actor in the movie "Doraemon"
The popular comedy duo, Sho Kaga and Soya Kaya, will make their debut as voice actors in the "Chikyu Symphony at Doraemon Nobita"! This is the first time for the duo to try their hand at voice acting, and they play a wide range of roles, including an old man who sings enka (traditional Japanese folk songs), a comic actor, and a band member who performs on the street.
The film Doraemon Nobita will be released on Friday, March 1, 2024!
After successfully completing the dubbing, Kaya said, "It was difficult. But once I tried it, the staff were very kind and praised me, saying, 'It's good! It's perfect!' so it was a lot of fun!" Kaga also said, "They left it up to us, but they also told us when it was wrong, so I was grateful for that." They talked about how they enjoyed the recording despite feeling their way around as it was their first experience.
Furthermore, during the post-recording, they showed off their well-coordinated teamwork as stand-up comedians, and then suddenly ended up playing the role of a band member performing on the street, which hadn't been planned...! What's more, the vocalist for that same band was none other than Vaundy!! So, they had a dream collaboration in the world of "Doraemon the Movie", and even after the post-recording, he was still excited, saying, "I never thought I'd be able to form a band with Vaundy in this way, so I'm really grateful!"
Where on earth will the characters they play appear? Make sure to check it out at the theater!

Kaga Sho
I'm Kaga from Kagaya, a comedian who will be appearing in the movie "Doraemon Nobita Symphony of the Earth." I'm a guest voice actor for Doraemon. This is the first time I've ever prayed so hard for a job that it wasn't a prank.
When I was told that I might be able to appear as a guest, I couldn't believe it and was overwhelmed with emotions, thinking, "You're kidding me!", "It's like a dream...", and "No way!" . On the day of the recording, when I met Doraemon in the studio, my heart was filled with emotion and I finally realized, "This might be true." My first dubbing was fun, even just having the script in hand, and I was moved by the feeling that I was a part of it.
It's a very grand story with a music theme, and I think it's fun and sparkling for anyone to watch, so I can't wait for everyone to see it. I heard that it was chosen because I did a choir skit, so thank you for the skit. I look forward to it.
Kaya Soya
I've loved Doraemon since I was little. I would go to the video rental store and borrow the Doraemon movies, and when I was little I would carefully read the big Doraemon movie books. When I became a university student and got my first part-time job and had some free money to spend, I bought the complete long Doraemon. I like Doraemon with a pirate hat, Doraemon with a bird cap, and Doraemon with a wizard's hat.
Anyway, I'm very happy to be able to appear in a movie about Doraemon which I love very much. I'm looking forward to watching it on the big screen. Thank you so much. Let's enjoy it together!!
