Fujiko F. Fujio In commemoration of the 90th anniversary of the birth of the "Kawasaki City Fujiko F. Fujio Museum," original background music created for the Museum Café in the " Museum" will be played in the café from February 21, 2024 (Wednesday)! A CD containing this original BGM will be released on the same day!
The cafe music is arranged with many famous songs from Fujiko F. Fujio animation works such as "Yume Kanakatta Doraemon" and "Boku Doraemon" from "Doraemon" and "Suimin Shirasu" and "Hajimete no Chuu" from "Kiteretsu Daihyakka." The music is composed mainly of piano, guitar, bass, and guitar. A bossa quartet of guitar, bass, drums, and piano, with flute, marimba, percussion, and various other instruments add color to the music!
Arranged/performed by Ryotaro Imai, a Brazilian music pianist and producer and a big fan of Fujiko F. Fujio works. The booklet of the CD released at the same time includes a commentary on the arrangement of the songs. The initial limited edition also comes with a sleeve case.

Ryotaro Imai Profile
Ryotaro Imai is one of Japan's leading pianists, organists, and producers specializing in Brazilian music, celebrating the 10th anniversary of his major label debut in 2023. He has released 9 albums including his best album from Nippon Columbia. His original song "Tudo Bem" was written by Lisa Ono and composed by Ryotaro Imai. She also wrote the lyrics and composed the school song for Iida Kita Icho Elementary School in Yokohama and the song "Sorairo Misanga" for voice actress/artist Miki Ito. In addition to performing throughout Japan, he is also an established radio personality and continues to expand his activities. In this work, he has included writing commentary on the arrangement of the music, and has played his overflowing feelings for Fujiko F. Fujio, which he has loved since childhood, on bossa nova music.
