The legendary anime series "Perman" (broadcast from 1967 to 1968), which achieved a peak audience rating of 35.6%, is now available on Blu-ray to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the birth of Fujiko F. Fujio!

One day, Mitsuo Suwa, a dull elementary school student, meets an alien in a vacant lot and is given a mask, cape, and badge, and is appointed as the superhuman Perman No. 1, who protects peace on Earth. Mitsuo uses his superhuman powers to defeat villains and save lives, and works as a hero of justice with his friends, including the chimpanzee No. 2!
First broadcast: April 2, 1967 (Showa 42) to April 14, 1968 (Showa 43) on TBS

★This DVD contains 106 episodes out of the 108 episodes of the black-and-white version of "Perman" that was broadcast from 1967 to 1968, excluding episodes 31 and 93!
★Based on episodes published in "Weekly WEEKLY SHONEN SUNDAY" and other magazines, it also includes original episodes for the anime version, as well as the two final episodes, "The Story of a Girl Named Parko" and "The Story of Parman Forever," which are renowned among fans as "the greatest episodes in the history of Fujiko anime."
