Of the regular edition and collector's edition (10 volumes each currently on sale), the collector's edition "Ultimate Edition 1" has won the Japan Book Publishers Association Chairman's Award (Practical Life Books, Paperbacks, New Books, Comics, and Others) at the 57th Book Design Competition (sponsored by the Japan Book Publishers Association and the Japan Printing Industry Federation).

"Fujiko F Fujio SF Short Stories Complete Works Ultimate Edition" is the same large B5 size as when it was first published in a magazine, and the book opens flat to the throat, making it a codex binding that allows you to enjoy the charm of the work to the fullest. In addition, the beautiful binding is also attracting a lot of attention, making it the "ultimate" collector's edition.

The book design was done by Naoko Naku, a book designer who also designed "100 Years of Doraemon" and "100 Years of Doraemon: The Long Story."

This is a collection of slightly (S) mysterious (F) science fiction by Fujiko F. Fujio. It is large and bound in a codex, so you can flip it open and see a large screen right in front of you. You can enjoy even the fine details of the pen. The entire team worked together to create this, from the silver cover with embossed foil all over, to the metal plate embedded in it, to the window-opening box with printing on the inside, so please enjoy it from any volume you like!

The "SF Short Stories" series began with "Minotaur's Plate" published in "BIG COMIC" in 1969, and continued to be drawn in various comic and SF magazines, including many of SHOGAKUKAN 's young men's and boys' comic magazines, until "The Foreigner Andro" (published in "BIG COMIC" in 1995). This book contains all 111 "SF Short Stories" works, divided into "Unusual SF Short Stories" (volumes 2-6) and "Boys' SF Short Stories" (volumes 7-10), and collected in roughly the order of publication. This is the "Ultimate" collector's edition, presented in a luxurious binding with the concept of a permanent edition.

Following the positive reception of "Fujiko F. Fujio SF Short Story Complete Works Ultimate Edition," it has been decided that a collector's edition of the classic SF novella "Memories of the Future" will be published on December 2, 2024. It will also be a B5-sized hardcover, fully reproduced in color, and the binding will be designed by Naoko Naku. In addition, as a purchase bonus, two figures (manufactured by Medicom Toy) of manga artist Nodo Rihito, the protagonist of "Memories of the Future," and "Zashiki Boy," a character drawn by Nodo Rihito, will be included.
